Space Downstream Services 2010 conference „Boosting the competitiveness of Business & Science: Satellite Services in Modern Society “ will be accompanied by the exposition presenting the interests and achievements of Estonian space sector and foreign companies.
The participants of the exposition are Estonian and European aerospace and defence companies and R&D institutions, actively involved in the development of space technologies and applications. They will present their achievements in this domain, giving the audience an unique opportunity to review currently operational products and services as well as future developments of space applications, particularly those that can be used to improve the management of public sector.
Different forms of presentation: multimedia shows, 3D, information films, computer animations, models, posters, leaflets etc. will assist both Estonian and European partners in getting a better understanding of each other`s expertise, fields of interests and heritage.
The exposition will help to foster cooperation between Estonian and European entities and encourage them to discuss new measures and areas of integrating Estonian research and industrial sector in the European space cooperation and programs, especially under European joint initiatives such as 7th Framework Programme, cooperation with the European Space Agency in the framework of PECS programme, GMES Space Component and Galileo system development.
The exposition will be held in the foyer of the conference Room centre in Swissòtel, Tallinn. The participation in the exposition is restricted to the Estonian & European space industry and research entities. Participation in the exhibition will be free of charge.
